Definition: Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are mesenchymal neoplasms. In rare instances, SFTs can contain mature fat, atrophic fat, or vacuolated cells previously termed ’pseudo-lipoblasts’, which may be misinterpreted as a feature of malignancy.
